I am running for the Washington County, Utah, Commission Seat B to give the people another choice, instead of the same old candidate choices that are career politicians. I beleive in the People are the bosses and that all representatives of the People must follow, uphold and protect the US Constitution (Supreme Law of the Land) and that all representaives must never intrude into the People's lives. I also believe in the true separation of powers at all levels of government. Stand up, speak up & take action for the people.
lowering/decreasing the property taxes that are imposed, which are unconstitutional. I would love to get the property taxes eliminated, essentially.
We should have term limits, not only at the federal level, but every level of government, due to the position's levels within government, they can be and have been negatively influential most of the time, persuaded, and manipulated to create corruption.
Elected reps should never have over six-figure salaries, with benefits, perks, and more. Our founding fathers did not intend for those who chose to serve to be comfortable while in office. Allowing such large salaries further incentivizes the comfortability and possibility of wanting to stay in office.
All elected reps should always have an open-door policy because they serve the People. This policy with futher allow the people the ability to reach out, ask questions, and communicate openly with their elected reps.
We must impose sanctions on big developers who are overextending into our communities, from local rural areas to nationwide. This helps mitigate the ever-increasing prices and allows the private sector to compete at more affordable prices. Anything beyond this point, the government should not be involved in private sector development, expansion, or the housing market because it is not the proper role of government.
